We live in a technological world where you can capture memories instantly at the click of your phone screen and if you’re anything like Beki then you probably have a cloud full of amazing memories to look back on, but that’s part of the problem right? We don’t actually look back on them. There was a time in the past where we would regularly print our photographs and file them away in a photo album and the most special ones would be displayed in the home within a frame. In this project Beki reinvents this concept of displaying special memories with the help of Vectric software.

In this video Beki shows you how you can easily import a photograph into Vectric software and arrange it within a filmstrip layout using a selection of the drawing tools. She then shows you how you can utilize the very powerful photovcarve toolpath to create unique timepieces that are perfect for family gifts or the personalization market. Beki pairs the photo element of the project with a 3D base that you can customize and carve in no time.
