Winter Town Scene

Create a cozy Winter town scene as part of your festive decorations with these super simple wooden houses. Simply back light with some fairy lights and you have created the perfect backdrop for a cold winter evening.

As part of the Winter make off challenge Beki designed and machined a set of 6 town buildings using mostly the polyline tool, the draw rectangle tool and node edit mode to create the final outlines, and using the very powerful mirror tool she was able to create all the windows in no time.

Part of the Winter Make Off challenge rules was to create a project compatible with our Desktop software, so she was able to copy her design across 3 sheets of pine for the machining. Beki also used an acrylic sheet to create a glass element for some of the windows and the clock face!

This one is very simple to machine, using just 2 tools, a ¼ End Mill and a 60 Degree VBit for the carved details.
